Program Content
The private capital markets were surveyed in their entirety twice in 2009. Using this survey data, Rob Slee has created a new discount rate model called the Private Cost of Capital (PCOC) Model. The PCOC Model is intended to replace build-up models that rely on expected returns from public markets.  Slee’s article, “The Private Cost of Capital Model” will be shared with attendees, even though it probably won’t appear in a journal until this summer.
