Michele G. Miles, Esquire has served as Executive Director of IBA since 1999. A former shareholder of a South Florida law firm, she practiced complex commercial litigation for 15 years. Michele is the developer of four IBA courses and author of the book The Business Appraiser and Litigation Support. Robert Schlegel, MCBA, ASA, practices with the investment banking firm of Houlihan, Smith & Company. An IBA Governor at Large, Rob is also the author of IBA’s course on the valuing of intangibles. He is a contributing author to The Handbook of Business Valuation. Keith Sellers, CPA/ABV, CVA, PhD. Is Eminent Scholar of Business Valuation, Professor of Acounting and Director of Center for Research and Education in Business Valuation at the University of North Alabama. Len Sliwoski, PhD, CPA/ABV, ASA, CEDS, CFE, CMA, FIBA, MCBA is a Professor of Accountancy at Moorhead State University and Director of their Small Business Development Center. He is the author of three IBA courses and has been both Volunteer of the Year and Instructor of the Year.

Ashok Abbott, MBA, PhD. is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Univ. of West Virginia. He is widely published in research journals; the Small Business Administration recognized Dr. Abbot as the Small Business Advocate-Journalist for 2002.
